We are operating our 2020 camps under firm CDC-recommended guidelines. The safety and well-being of our campers and staff form the basis of every decision we make.
Some of our modifications include smaller groups at camp with adequate spacing measures, face coverings where appropriate, hygiene routines, and daily wellness checks.
As our hearts go out to the victims of the virus, and as we share appreciation and gratitude for the healthcare workers and people who work daily to help society function, we do want to recognize the toll the virus has taken on our children as they have missed out on so much this year. Never have we felt that camp is as important for kids as it is in times like this. Kids need a break from technology, an opportunity to run and play outside, a chance to be with friends, and time to relax, escape daily worries, and simply have fun. We will continue to do all in our power to provide the safest experience kids so desperately need.
If you do intend for your child to attend a Breakaway camp, register quickly as there will be fewer spots available this year.
